Caribbean Energy Conservation and Sustainability Initiative

MAREH is working with local individuals and groups to identify and develop energy conservation and sustainability projects.  These projects provide more then renewable energy technologies they are focused on techno-social integration activities that will bring renewable energy to urban and rural areas in a manner that allows people to maintain their long standing culture while reaping the benefits of 21st Century technology.  Integrating energy activities into sustainable agriculture activities is a natural extension of our base activities.  Many agricultural project will provide the raw materials for locally produced bio-fuels.

In March of 2012 Walter Ellis and Jacob Holloway realized the need to develop sustainable energy and agro-economic projects in the Caribbean basin that would provide sustainable conservation, renewable energy, and environmental friendly economic activities in the region.   Together they organized and initiative to recruit local participants and initiate sustainable projects.
